Plutus Wallet for Desktop released!

A few weeks ago we launched Plutus Wallet for iOS, and now we are excited to announce the release of the final part of Plutus Wallet’s lineup – the Desktop version! From now on, you can explore the crypto market using your PC or laptop.  Let’s see how it works

First Steps in Plutus Wallet

To start using Plutus Wallet’s desktop version, you’ll need to visit first. If you are a new user, create an account by clicking the Register button located in the upper right corner or in the middle of the page and enter an email address and password.

Once successfully submitted, you will receive an automatic email with a confirmation link to confirm the registration. After that, you can log in to the  service using your username and password.

If you already have a Plutus Wallet account, choose the Login button instead and use your login credentials or use the Google account option.

Plutus Wallet Desktop funcionality

Basically, the desktop version has almost the same feature set as the Android version. After you have logged into your account, three sections will be available, namely Dashboard, Portfolio and Top 10.

Let’s have a more detailed look at each one of them.

Dashboard section

The Dashboard is an overview of your crypto portfolios, which, as you may already know, are called Pies in Plutus Wallet. From here you are able to create virtual Pies with different crypto coin combinations to try out different investment strategies. Sort your Pies by growth over multiple periods – 24 hours, one week or one month, analyze their progress with the help of informative charts, and find your winning strategy!

And if you’re in for some actual trading, create and connect a Real Pie to an exchange.

Portfolio section

Next up is the Portfolio section. Here you can explore crypto coins in which you actually can invest and examine a detailed price chart for each of the assets with a choice of three different time ranges – hour, week, or month. Each available crypto coin can be added to and removed from your Pie. Do note, that Virtual Pies have a limit of 5 cryptocurrencies per Pie, while the Real Pie has no limit whatsoever!

Additionally, be sure to make use of the rebalance function. What it does, is it restores the actual crypto coin allocations to the targets you’ve set, since the initial target allocations will shift due to exchange rate fluctuations.

Set the automatic rebalance to hourly or daily and get more results out of your cryptocurrency portfolio. Read more about rebalance and its benefits here:

Leaderbord section

Now let’s have a look at the Top 10 screen, which is our leaderboard section in Plutus Wallet. Here you can see the ten best portfolios within different periods (24 hours / 1 week / 1 month) for two base currencies (BTC or USDT), which makes a total of six leaderboards that you can reach. Examine the best users’ portfolios and copy the ones you like to your own collection. For a Top 10 ranking, you will be rewarded with Plutus Coins; the amount depends on the type of leaderboard and your portfolio’s rank.

We’ve visualized the potential amount of Plutus Coins that you can win directly in the leaderboard screen.

To make things even more exciting and competitive, we have also implemented a countdown timer, which shows you how much time is left until the competition is finished for the selected leaderboard.

Real Pie Selection

You now have the opportunity to create a Real Pie, connect it to the cryptocurrency exchange and complete real deals using the user-friendly interface of the desktop version. Just like in the Android version of Plutus Wallet, simply create an account on HitBTC exchange and connect your Real Pie. For more detailed information read our FAQ or the dedicated article:
